Spinning Tackle

What to expect

Spinning tackle is a really fun way to fish in Hawaii.

You can expect we'll

be walking really slowly around the shallow flats on the lower tides looking and hunting for these big Hawaiian bonefish.  We'll be sight fishing and casting out small jigs and live baits way out in front of these big bonefish.  Once they get close enough to your bait, twitch and slowly move it ...........BOOM! Fish on!.  

On the high tides its productive to slowly drive and drift around the small reefs and cast for trevally, barracuda and other colorful reef fish.  We also get out of the lagoon and throw bigger poppers for giant trevally and bluefin trevally or go micro jigging for amberjacks, small tuna, job fish, goat fish, triggerfish and other colorful reef fish.
